- Classroom Response System (Clickers)
Classroom Response Systems (CRSs) have been installed in several of the
technology-enabled general pool classrooms on the Uptown campus. Students use simple and inexpensive clickers, similar to a television remote control, to respond to questions posed by the instructor. Students can purchase clickers at the Tulane Bookstore. Clickers, once purchased, can be used in multiple rooms and with multiple courses. This technology can have an immediate impact on teaching and learning by enabling student interaction and assisting in the collecting and tallying of student responses in either a tracked or anonymous setting. Tulane has selected the
H-ITT system as its CRS. For more information on effectively using classroom response systems or for a demonstration, contact the Innovative Learning Center at 862-8594 or e-mail
