Alumni Email for Life FAQ (After 2009)

If you graduate (or have graduated) from an Undergraduate or Graduate program* at Tulane you will have your current @tulane.edu address for life. It never goes away. All current emails and folders within Inbox will remain. You have 50 GB of space in this account, and this does not change.

Specifically:

For the general graduate and undergraduate student population, all three of the following conditions must be met to qualify for Email for Life:

  1. The student must be in good academic standing with the university
  2. The student must have either earned a Tulane degree or have earned 12 or more Tulane hours (does not include transfer credits, AP, IB, or credit earned by exam)
  3. The student must have been enrolled in classes at Tulane in at least one term since 2008 Spring

In addition

  1. All Medical Residents get email for life
  2. All Post Docs get email for life

Students, graduates, etc. do not need to do anything to keep the email account active.
